Sunday, January 8, 2006 - A very dark maroon color. On the nose there was blackberries, raspberries, and a hint of leather. Medium body soft tannins and good acidity. On the palate the blackberries and raspberries were very sweet and alive. Nice finish that lasts a for a long time with sweet fruit and a hit of spicy oak. A very good wine as is and I don't think it will improve much with cellar time.
