Saturday, April 8, 2023 - Medium ruby quickly moving to "brick" on the rim. Subtle red and black fruit. Earth, clay, jalapeno, pepper. Cedar. Some barnyard funk. Rose. On the palate, more fruit, ripe and tart. Earth, stone, clay, soil. Some alcoholic heat on the finish. Rich but not heavy. Acidity is still there. Extraordinarily balanced. Finish is medium-plus in length, complexity is medium-plus. Beautiful wine.
