Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - Heidi's Gang: Seriously Folks (St. Genevieve, Mpls, MN): Pale gold color. Decanted for 1 hour. Drank a glass over 2 hours. The most powerful and the most distinct of the quartet of 1er's tonight. Showing the most reduction, though not excessive by any means. This had a wonderful swampy, briny, earthy ocean infused sea spray nose and palate. With gunflint, lemon, full bodied and powerful, long with a viscous finish; pear, tons of mineral denisty and saline intensity on the palate too. This really shows the brine and power with a less of the signature elegance of the others.
