Saturday, December 9, 2023 - Compared to my prior note I must say this was a scintillating experience. Black gold, Texas tea...those of a certain age will understand the reference. Deep, dark purple in color, almost impenetrable. Great aromatics of sandalwood, and rich fruit notes. This wine presented beautiful depth and stellar flavors throughout. Smooth and delicious without evident heat. It took me back up on top of moon mountain on that glorious day we tasted there. I loved this offering and highly recommend.
