Friday, April 5, 2024 - Dark opaque ruby. Initially tons of oak and vanilla on the nose but thankfully blows out after a short decant. Just your classic Napa profile with cassis, currants, vanilla, thyme. Palate has a surprising touch of acidity, well balanced, red/dark fruited. Finishes long with softened tannins. Honestly, this is a little boring, but obviously high quality.
