Monday, August 31, 2009 - definite cedar, i like the raw dough detection. this wine hits every crevasse of your mouth. bright cherry and the cab is seemingly dominant. i dont know what the blend is but is very much cab driven. as good of a finish as this wine has, it is missing something...im hoping that in its youth it has not unveiled its full potential. the nose is also a tad muted in my opinion. perfectly integrated tannins, well balanced. im giving it a 93 because i think it has 96-97 potential based on structure. finish is still going...glad i have 6 more. i highly recommend this wine. im young and dont have much experience with super tuscans, but i would have thought that this was from cali. changing my score its definitely higher than 93. its been open for almost 2 hours and it is absolutely singing right now!!!!!!!!!!!!
