Sunday, July 31, 2022 - Dark, almost opaque garnet, dusty, rocky, nose, with some lovely peppery pyrazine notes, not exactly "green", but definitely earthily attractive. Some very nice darker fruit on the palate, loving the medium intensity, the earthy roasted mushroom notes, just a hint of cab franc green, dusty, chalky tannins, perfect ripeness, this is for me quintessential Loire Cab Franc. It's not easy being green, but this wine does it nicely.
