Friday, November 3, 2023 - Pleasant red cherry with a fine silhouette, transitioning from red to black cherry. There's a touch of warm earth and red spice suggesting the complexity that is likely to develop over the coming years. Certainly a Burgundian expression of Sangiovese. Shows well from the start, but better after 12 hours and better yet after 24. That said, the depth on the palate and length of the finish don’t suggest a profound future.
