Friday, January 12, 2024 - Lots of meat on the nose, which strangely does not transfer to the taste, in the manner of a Cote Rotie, but which is more fruit than earth, and surprisingly clear and light.
It was paired with a tomato based sweet sausage spaghetti concoction, which I suspect was far too spicy for the delicacy this wine seems to favor. I've reserved half the bottle for a second tasting.
I'm still pondering a rating, though at minimum at +1 on a scale of -1 to +3.
