Friday, December 8, 2023 - Medium reddish-purple garnet in color; almost opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with earthy/dusty & floral overtones, tobacco, mint, spices, loam/herbs, minerals, & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with herbs, minerals, spices & a hint of vanilla/oak. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging if cellared properly. Very good QPR.
