Tuesday, March 26, 2024 - Deep, dark garnet, inky, opaque in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spices, tobacco, anise, cocoa, espresso, herbs & a bit of cedar in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & boysenberries with spices, herbs, minerals, coffee/cocoa & a hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the structure to develop further with additional aging. An indicative belnd of Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon.
