Wednesday, April 10, 2024 - Dark garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, black raspberries, & cassis with overtones of floral notes of violets & earthy/dusty notes, herbs, pencil/graphite, anise, spices, tobacco & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blueberries & cassis with spices, herbs, minerals, cocoa & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging. An indicative blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot & 6% Cabernet Franc.
