Saturday, January 30, 2010 - Medium ruby core, medium pale ruby rim. Ripe bilberry and blackberry fruit on the nose, moderate intensity with notes of meat, pepper and earth. Medium full bodied, but relatively fresh and light with keen acidity, with moderate to good depth of fruit not quite covering some firm, slightly furry tannins. Some attractive savoury bilberry and red berry fruit, notes of earth, medium - good length slightly firm, dry finish. Good with lamb chops. Not sure this has the depth of fruit to be a real long-term keeper? 13.5%ABV
