Tuesday, January 22, 2008 - From half bottle. Served at 62 degrees. Second time with this one. Dense nose of black raspberry fruit, tar, earth, charcoal, spices and dried flowers. More of the same on the palate, with lingering sauvage notes of animal, blood and scorched earth. This is burly, gutsy, honest stuff - real wine here. Delicious.
