Friday, October 24, 2008 - A bit dry and austere - dried cherries, bitter plums, leather, spice, roasted earth, herbs de Provence. Effortless and balanced on the palate with plenty of garrigue. Finish clamps down with acid and tannin. Give it a 6-10 year slumber, this is another classic Tempier. Wonderful as always and extremely hard to beat for $32.
