Thursday, June 15, 2023 - From magnum. Medium ruby. At once a very savory and very opulent Cabernet. On the nose this offers aromas of fresh black cherries and dried blackberries complicated by notes of baker's chocolate, baked earth, grilled bread and lavish oak spice. On the palate this is full bodied with medium acidity, notably soft, pliant tannins, a touch of alcoholic heat and crowd-pleasing sweet black fruit and oak flavors. Not the last word in complexity, but this should make the steakhouse bros very, very happy.
