82 Points

Friday, November 11, 2022 - French white wine from the Loire Valley: Melon de Bourgogne. 12 % alcohol. Maturation on the lees for 6 months.

Grayish/silver color.

Ripe aromas of pear, green apple, peach, white flowers, lemon, yogurt and minerals.
Round flavors of peach, pear, lemon, white flowers, honey, yogurt and minerals.

Dry. Full body. Fresh acidity. A bit unbalanced. Some structure. No complexity.

Short finish with pear.

A very simple, but drinkable, white wine that performs best at fridge temperature. 82/100
