Thursday, August 9, 2018 - 2002 Raveneau Chablis was a beautiful wine with crushed stone, lemon peel, stone fruit and gun powder. Palate was precise and long with plenty of acidity. The layers and acidty bursted out with time in the glass. Lots of things going on. Time has really toned down the chablis salinity and created a harmonious expression between terroir and Raveneau’s wine-making style. It can age easily for another 10-15 years given the acidity profile. 93+
