Monday, September 18, 2023 - Really beautiful. Maybe not super standout for its level, but a gorgeous Chard with both richness and elegance. A bit reticent right now, but not closed. Notes of lemon bars, almond, vanilla bean, powdery and dense, and beautifully integrated acidity. Felt like a sort of "predictable" version of an excellent chard that needs a few years in the cellar- new-world in terms of richness, just a contemporary version, not even close to overdone. Easy 94-95 with some bottle age, and it could probably go for a while.
