The nose is aromatic, very attractive; the palate is light but very persistent, the length mostly supported by acidity. Flavours of raspberries and notes of savoury briar. A very sophisticated wine. It's impossible not to think of a delicate Burgundy, possibly Chambolle-Musigny. For the moment, it has a linearity rather than an expansiveness (at least within the first couple of hours of opening) which keeps it at the excellent level rather than exceptional.
