Thursday, April 13, 2023 - Intense nose of forest berries with fresh soil. Immediately approachable and enjoyable. Notes of red berries, red currant, rooibos tea, tobacco leaves and new leather. Aftertaste (medium long) with early signs of forest floor. Medium to full body. More ripe-fruited than the bottle about a year ago and somewhat more alcohol pronounced (14.5%). Very well made and very enjoyable. Although I suppose I like this better with less age.
