Wednesday, June 18, 2014 - Riesling Show (Count's Mannor): Ripe cherry, rich, touch of vanilla, middle is full of sweet macerated cherry. touch of grape skins on the finish. This is my first taste of a well aged Conterno Barbera...and i must say its amazingly good. Cherry dominates overall but the balance and acidity keep this wine fresh. great stuff!
