Saturday, January 24, 2009 - Very pure expression of barbera. Color is almost purple. Lots of dark fruit in the nose. Licorice and smoke reveals itself in the glass. It still appears on the (very) young side, and I will see if I can leave my remaining bottles in cellar for at least 4-5 years - it will be hard to keep my fingers away. I think the 2006's will be ready before the 2005's.
