Sunday, April 14, 2013 - Light in color, good clarity. Sour cherry, mushroom and earth on the nose. Palate isn't quite following through. Decent fruit up front, but as it rolls to the finish it gets sour and bitter. I really like the burgundian sour cherry notes, but this is bitter. A bit thin and astringent. It was ok, but the finish was a letdown. Past peak already.
