Saturday, March 4, 2023 - Garnet-crimson; black cherries, black currants, raisins, prunes, black licorice, cedar, soil; black cherry, pruney, slightly syrupy, full body, good heat, decent acidity, good structure, firm tannins, lingering finish
Decanted 2 hrs, needed more. Fragrant nose and dark fruit flavours with coaxing led to a firm finish. Good extraction of the skins. Enjoyable on its own and with roast venison. Will buy again.
