Wednesday, April 19, 2023 - Man I really love this riesling; may be my favorite Alsatian riesling though I'll be fair I haven't sampled some of the better bottlings from Trimbach, etc recently. That said, this is so consistently excellent and even though it isn't cheap the quality makes it seem like solid value (at least for someone who is normally looking at burgundy prices...) super fresh citrus and crushed stone, jasmine, green pear, and a whiff of petrol. Fresh, vibrant, and full of stone and citrus peel the palate has excellent depth and a lovely saline hint to the finish. So hard not to just take another sip. s
