Friday, November 26, 2021 - This is really an exceptional wine. It exudes powerful aromas of black pepper, game, rubber, and black tea. The palate seems soft and fruity until the big tannins kick in. My overall impression is that this wine is the most serious that I’ve tasted in the Samsara portfolio. I don’t have a good feel for how this will age. My thinking today, contrary to my last review, is that this wine would benefit from at least five years of bottle age.
