Thursday, March 21, 2024 - Tasted at a local shop with a winery rep from the family. Light to medium garnet. Pretty high tannin and acid. Seems structured to age a moderate amount of time. Nice mid weight texture but full of flavor. Classic traditional Barbaresco. Roses, cherry earthy with hints of tar. Medium long finish is the only current downside. Leans toward the elegant side of the spectrum. Probably best 8-20 years old.
