Friday, April 26, 2024 - Sure, this will get better with age but boy is it tasty now. Black fruit and Vosne spice with hints of oak, the palate has a roundness and sweetness that make it effortless to drink. This wine shows a ripeness that I’d be surprised the 2012 had at age 4. The 2012 I had a couple years back has an ethereal elegance that I wonder if the 2020 will age into, given that it seems bigger and richer. Either way, I have high hopes for this vintage.
