Friday, January 5, 2024 - Resto saint Nicolas at megeve, Friday evening. Chef worked at le 1920 before and this is sophisticated food - highly recommended if you pass by megeve. Pairing with the first 2 starters - saint Jacques and a soup. Medium gold color. Nose reminds me of a savignin / vin jaune but with more fruit like sweet apples and pineapple. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, med flavor intensity, med finish. Minerality, orange, sweet apple, pineapple, oxidative note, lingering salinity. Excellent 👌
