Friday, December 8, 2023 - Don’t think that this being a village level wine makes it not cellar-worthy. This has good depth, structure, and vivacity. Dark berries and plum, herbs, spice, and floral notes with a soft, juicy palate that possesses good balance and purity with a long herbal finish. Give this wine ten years to allow the tannins to round out and greater complexity to develop, and this will be as good as a Premier Cru. Old vines here, and very well made, especially for the vintage. Too young though; drink in ten years and beyond.
