Sunday, March 24, 2024 - Medium ruby color with clarity, brightly toned, clear edges. Aromas of fig paste, black cherry & ripe strawberry, with fresh hibiscus, clove, smoked cedar and black tea. Expressive and long red cherry, red plum and fig fruit on the palate, with integrated secondary nutmeg, tobacco, tea and lavender spices. Light-to-medium bodied, with fine elegant density and presence throughout, lifted with fresh, succulent acidity and closing with fine silky tannins, finishing with lengthy notes of zesty red fruit zest and oolong tea. Excellent. 93+ with further improvement over the next 5 to 10 years.
