Tuesday, August 15, 2017 - Nose has dark fruit, tea, blood, earth and herbs. Palate has tea and sour cherries with good amount of acidity yet the fruit is fading. It was disappointing initially but it opened up really well as the fruit started to emerge after 1.5 hours. Very integrated and smoothe with charcoal, mint, ash, red fruit and earth. Drinking beautifully at peak if you give it some air in the bottle.
