Past it's peak, not much complexity at this point. Only breathed for 45 minutes so maybe it would have come around at some point in the night but I don't think this is getting any better. Worked well as a food wine with lamb sugo

Pretty perfumed nose of tertiary elements, dried cherry, some earth. Palate is resovled, tea, cocoa, mint and hints of leather. It leans toward sweetness, in a smooth and rounded sense, but not cloying. Feels polished. There are no hard angles remaining. Drinking well. Actually was a great pairing to enchiladas con mole!

Nose has dark fruit, tea, blood, earth and herbs. Palate has tea and sour cherries with good amount of acidity yet the fruit is fading. It was disappointing initially but it opened up really well as the fruit started to emerge after 1.5 hours. Very integrated and smoothe with charcoal, mint, ash, red fruit and earth. Drinking beautifully at peak if you give it some air in the bottle.

In a really fantastic spot right now. Perfectly mature BdM that is in my opinion peaking right now. Perfect fruit, tannin, secondary flavors etc. Really a nice bottle right now. 93 might be too low.

Medium-red color. Aromas of red cherries, leather and underbrush. Ripe, silky medium-bodied fruit in the mouth with excellent structure, depth and length and well-integrated tannins. Firmly in its prime, this delicious wine was a great match with Nadine's grilled veal chops.

Popped and poured. Cork in excellent shape. Perfect match for the food. Color was a cloudy medioum cherry red with signs of aging. Floral nose with red fruits and earthiness. Very smooth, lithe and tasty. Drinking very well now

A typical Brunello showing beautiful notes of red cherry, black cherries, and smokey underbrush. The wine comes across as quite soft and mature. The finish is beautiful, graceful, and long. Ready to drink.

Similar to the 7/10/10 bottle except at end of its prime drinking period and delicious with my wife's veal chops.
