Difficult to get much out of the glass to start with, went round in a loop trying to understand why this wasn’t a left bank bordeaux but then the red fruit kicked in together with a fair dose of oak. Lean with high acidity and plenty of tannin, medium body. Not convinced but my best definition was a Tuscan Sangiovese. Agree with most tasters before me, nothing much to write home about.
