Sunday, April 21, 2024 - Under a wax sealed natural cork. Pnp. The colour of pale fake movie wine. You know, light red, like Kool-Aid that you can see through? Maybe this is what they actually use?! Cool, fresh nose of cranberry, red meat, rhubarb and a touch of lanolin. Interesting. Strange mix of aromas. Medium bodied, good acidity, slightly astringent, slightly stalky fruits on the palate. Even a bit of tea like tannins. Feels a bit thin on the palate. Maybe this needs to be served only slightly chilled. Flavours of rhubarb, herb bread, fennel bulb and bark. Medium long, dry finish. Certainly Interesting but I'm not sure it works for me.
