Saturday, March 30, 2013 - Dinner at Brasa. Deep, rich red in color. A little tight upon opening this would have benefitted from a couple of hours in a decanter. The wine opened over the course of dinner. Scents and flavors of wild berries and a little smokiness. Medium-plus bodied with excellent richness and concentration of fruit. Oak is well in check. Medium length finish that would probably be longer if we had decanter the wine. As with previous bottles this wine transcends the reputation of 1998 California Cabs. 50+12+13+8.5+8.5=92
