Sunday, August 10, 2008 - Pretty nose of blackberries, slate and cigar box. Lighter-bodied and elegant with the classic flavors of the vineyard showing through. Wild blackberries with tobacco, slate and hints of black licorice lead to a complex finish. A good but not great vintage of this wine. Seems quite mature and ready now.
