Thursday, October 13, 2022 - By the bottle at Meroma in Mexico City. Nose is quite dark, darker than I expected, black cherry, plum, ripe but not overripe, with a slight minty herbiness on the finish. Palate is slightly underripe black fruits, dusty herbs, very slightly floral, good acidity and a decently long finish. It’s good but I think I was just hoping for a bit more wildness. This would be good for dinner with your California Pinot-loving parents. It is getting better with air though so maybe hold onto it for a little while longer.
