Wednesday, December 14, 2022 - youthful yellow rim with moderate depth of color. on the nose it is dominated by new french oak... albeit really nice oak. lurking behind that are some fruit aromas, neutralish apple and citrus. on the palate high acids, firmish middle weight midpalate, firm at the end with low to moderate alcohol. firmish white balance wise with good length and loads of intensity... not much complexity. i'd sit on these for a while and see what happens... like the concept and the quality of the oak... be curious to see how this wine comes together (or doesn't) with age.
