90 Points

Friday, December 6, 2019 - PnP and drank over an hour. Needed 15-30 minutes to open up and settle down. Nice acidity, not over the top, balanced by the mineral driven dry profile of softer citrus, lite strawberries and tangy raspberries.

Overall has more of the mouthfeel I enjoy, unfortunately not as much as the Krug (obviously not expected at 1/2 price), does leave a positive impression vs many of the sharper acidic profile champagnes I have tried and do not enjoy (not a SB or Extra Brut fan). Can’t say it’s my favorite champagne or that I will ever crave it but feel like this is a consistent champagne over the many times I have tried it. Not overly complex nor too simple. Solid and Enjoyable.

Probably my favorite $0-$75 champagne to date but admittedly that’s not a high bar at this stage of my champagne experience.
