Wednesday, June 1, 2022 - Quite different compared to the previous vintage. Monastrell-like aromas, it’s almost like a Bandol, wild and earthy. Baked cassis, tomato leaf, some blood, definitely on the savoury side of things. Smooth with low acidity, only medium-bodied, but gently powerful, due to the ripe, firm tannins. Southern generosity and ripeness with restrain – it’s so French. An authentic red from Languedoc. Source: own purchase.
