Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of spiced oak, earth, dark cherries, dark plums. Tight and developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), very structured high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black cherries, dark red cherries, dark plums, big dark spice, emerging earth, minerals underlying. Big long finish.
Very good quality. Just not ready yet. Powerful virile dark Grand Cru. Definitely needs more time.
