Tuesday, November 22, 2016 - Meiningers Finest 100: International Wine Summit (Saalbau, Neustadt an der Weinstraße): I had this vintage of Francia some years ago and I wasn't satisfied with the wine. Now it slowly opens up, showing more fresh fruit aromas, tar and some floral notes. Lively acidity, nice fruit and polished tannins on the palate. Give it one more decade and this Francia will turn into a real beauty.
