Thursday, November 9, 2017 - 2017 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/9/2017-11/14/2017 (Villa D’este, Lake Como and Milan): Expressive nose displaying mostly ripe yet pure red fruit, sap, tar, baking spices and strong iron which is surprising. Beautifully integrated palate, nicely layered decadent red fruit, very silky and polished despite showing noticeable tannins towards to the end, bright acidity and a long decadent red fruit and iron driven finish. Perhaps the wine to seek. Drinking beautifully but definitely can improve for two more decades.
