Saturday, November 30, 2013 - Twenty minutes were needed to take the first gulp.
That's respect and devotion.
Complex nose to the limit.
A bottle full of goodness, as simple as that
Supreme mellow acidity with a long way ahead.
Playing in a superior league. Delicious.
An only bottle in life.
Tardé veinte minutos en dar el primer sorbo.
Respeto y devoción.
Compleja nariz llevada al límite.
Una botella llena de lo rico, tan simple como eso.
Suprema acidez melosa con un largo camino que recorrer.
Juega en una división superior. Deliciosa.
Una botella única para disfrutar al menos una vez en la vida.

11/30/2013 10:02:00 AM - Looking forward to opening my one and only bottle soon. Sounds like it was great. I always feel that the champagne is best when allowed to breathe for a little time. It looks as if this paid off nicely on this bottle.

As you perfectly know 1998 and 1999 were quite good for Pol Roger and this bottle was a reflect of that.
According with that acidity on my jaws and my tongue, have to say don't be in a hurry with your only bottle but if temptation is very irrisistible this cuvée is offering, beyond any doubt, it's best at this point.
