Friday, March 22, 2024 - This was excellent and the first few glasses made me question why I don't stock up on them. Nose is open and just chiseled enough with lemon cream, nougat, and bread wafting up. Palate has the zing to it but is not quite as stern as a DP. Really one of the best house champagnes I've had in a while. After revisiting later in the night, the sugar did show itself a bit more, perhaps a reminder of why I typically don't stock up on house bruts. That said, I would happily have 1-2 glasses anytime of this and this is much better value compared to the peer group. I do think it will continue to get better with time.
