Tuesday, December 4, 2007 - Pale to medium garnet color without browning. Musty/mousy at first, but this dissipated. After an initial blast of tart acidity, very pure blackberry fruit poked through, albeit without a lot of complexity, sap, or natural sweetness. Quite lean in the style of the vintage. Very good but not spectacular.
