Monday, March 8, 2021 - My 2021 barrel from the UK (not Jeff’s)

Letter N. Dumped 1/22/2020. Barrel 534. H. Rick 20. Bottle 269

Nose/Floral - all oak
Sweet - maple syrup central. Butterscotch and honey. Gummy bears, interesting.
Nutty - pecan
Spicy - black pepper
Earthy - no
Smoky - no
Woody - dark pine into light cedar but Not Turkey dark cedar
Fruit - cherry and orange. Classic BT
Color - light amber
Palate - all astringent oak, then fruit, then fades back to an oak exit.
Value - fantastic
Overall - my favorite of the Blanton’s lineup. This is the correct proof. Standard bottling is too weak. SFTB is delicious but how often can you drink gasoline. This is my favorite of the bunch.
