Saturday, May 6, 2023 - This is a famous wine in certain circles, reputedly the best Muscadet of its era, but I think its time has come and gone. I had a bottle a few years ago from a different source that was advanced, but this one seems correct. It's all honeyed lemon and woolly earth, almost Chenin-like but without Chenin's body, getting soft in the midpalte, just a bit washed out/dilute but good length. Better with food and has held up well but not really remarkable.
